Here you will find my repository for the actual Porsche factory repair manuals. These are the manuals that explain almost any tiny detail for your car. Throw the Haynes manual in the trash. The Haynes manual is mostly based off of a pre 85.5 944. Nothing mentions the turbo car, and most of the pictures are inaccurate if you have a late model 944.

These manuals are no longer available to purchase from Porsche. That is why I have decided to host them here. I have had these PDF's for quite some time, however I never made them public because I had to pay $250 for my set of manuals. Since I'm such a nice guy, you get them for free.

These files are fairly large, as each file is around 150 pages. I will host these as long as I can. Bandwidth is not free, and if I start going over my allocated bandwidth amount; I will have to remove the manuals.

The manuals are six volumes. They cover the entire life span of the 944. However, not all manuals are needed for your exact car. For example, the 8v and 16v valve engines are separate manuals, the turbo cars have a "supplement" book which basically has repair methods specific to the 951.

Also listed here is a copy of TECHNIK 491 321. TECHNIK 491 321 is a more of an information booklet that came out in '85 to show the differences between the 951 and 944.

I have also included parts catalogues here. These come in handy more than just parts. Since they show expanded views of many components, they can help you assemble and disassemble systems/components of your vehicle.

There is also a technical instruction book of the BOSCH L-Jetronic fuel injection system. It goes into much detail regarding the fuel injection system used on the Porsche 944.

I'm always looking for more documents regarding the Porsche 944/951. If you have something I do not have listed, contact me and I will do what I can to add it to this list.
